Dustbuster's Terms and Conditions
Please find below an overview of our terms and conditions. These are deemed accepted by you on commencement of the first appointment.
If you wish to terminate our agreement for ANY reason, you will be required to provide written notice. Customers who have been with Dustbuster’s for less than 2 years are required to give 2 weeks notice. Customers who have been with Dustbuster’s for more than 2 years will be required to provide 3 weeks’ notice. Failure to do so will result in the notice period being charged to your final invoice.
You will be required to settle your invoice/account within 7 working days from the date of invoice. Payment can be made in cash, cheque or BACS. Any overdue balance could be subject to interest charges if it remains unpaid. Interest is currently charged at 5% above the base rate of interest (as set by the bank of England) per month (plus administration costs)
Prior to commencement of services Dustbuster’s will agree a fixed time and date for each week or fortnights appointment. Please allow 20 minutes either side of the agreed appointment time for Dustbuster’s attendance. We always aim to be at the appointment at the time we have agreed however traffic and other circumstances can have an effect on our arrival time. Should Dustbuster’s need to discuss or move your appointment time I will contact you in advance to discuss suitable alternatives.
Should you require any additional or specific cleaning tasks for an appointment please call me in advance (otherwise Dustbuster’s cannot guarantee the request can be met). If notice has been given Dustbuster’s will ensure the tasks are completed as priority in addition to the normal duties. You will be charged for any additional time taken if the tasks run over the agreed appointment time. Dustbuster’s reserves the right to allow the team to continue their duties/requests past the end time, by an extra hour without the need to seek additional authorisation from you. The additional time will be charged at the standard rate. For anything above an hour we will gain your authorisation. If we are unable to contact you we will stop after the hour.
Cleaning products will be supplied by you. You will be responsible for ensuring there are sufficient products available and each product provided is suitable for use within your property. Dustbuster’s is unable to accept liability for wear/tear to products, surfaces etc.. Where items are damaged by the cleaning products provided by the customer (except where negligence is proved).
It is your responsibility to ensure we can gain access to your property unless you have provided Dustbuster’s with a key/entry code to your property. Upon termination of the agreement your key will be returned immediately with a form to sign confirming this. If Dustbuster’s is unable to gain access to your premises, you will be charged for the whole of the appointment.
Should you wish to cancel/move an appointment, 72 hours notice is required (expect in emergency circumstances). Failure to provide notice may result in your whole appointment being charged. Please inform Dustbuster’s of any longer periods of absences (i,e holidays etc..) at least 4 weeks in advance.
Dustbuster’s and their team are fully insured to carry out work on your premises. If you have a complaint or issue with the service then you must contact the proprietor of Dustbuster’s within 24 hours of the complaint occurring. This can be done either through email or telephone. Dustbuster’s reserve the right to make right the problem/issue first – should liability be proven.
